Informal pre-grievance hearings will be held on May 1st and May 2nd, 2024, from 9:00am – 3:00pm. This information is posted in the Town Clerk’s Office and on the Town Hall Bulletin Board, the Maidstone Lake Bulletin Board, at Roger Irwin Photography, and at Ed Tully’s Farm Stand, as well as on the Event Calendar on the Town website. These hearings are an opportunity for property owners to ask questions of and review the data with an assessor from NEMRC (New England Municipal Resource Center) about what is behind the property values listed in the reappraisal notices. The hearings will be conducted either by phone or in person at the Maidstone Town Hall, 508 VT Route 102, Maidstone, VT. Please call Marla at 802-227-7383 for an appointment.

These hearings will be by appointment only and will last 15 minutes. Be prepared to present relevant evidence regarding the appeal. All appeals must be in writing.
