    During the months of May, June, July, and August, recycling is picked up weekly. This weekly recycling pickup ends with the trash and recycling pick up on Wednesday September 4, 2024, rescheduled from Monday by the Labor Day holiday.

  • ECNRCD Board Meeting (public invited)

    The Essex County Natural Resources Conservation District (ECNRCD) will hold its monthly Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Please note that this February meeting will be held at 2:00 PM at the Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Brunswick, VT, rather than at 12:30 PM, at which time these Board meetings are usually held. ECNRCD Board meetings are open to all members of the public. Those interested in joining remotely should contact the ECNRCD District Manager at essexnrcd@gmail.com for Zoom information.

  • ENSU Board Meeting

    The Essex North Supervisory Union (ENSU) Board of Directors will hold a hybrid meeting on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Canaan Memorial High School Library. The Agenda and the Zoom link will be posted as soon as they are available. All meetings of the ENSU Board of Directors are open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend and participate. Meetings are hybrid, held in-person and via Zoom, either at Maidstone Town Hall or Canaan Memorial High School Library. The location of the meetings for the 2024-2025 School Year is as follows: February 25, 2025: Canaan Memorial HS Library March 24, 2025: Canaan Memorial HS Library June 19, 2025: Maidstone Town Hall

    All meetings of the NEK Choice School District Board are open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend and participate. Meetings are hybrid, held both in-person at the Maidstone Town Hall at 508 VT-102 in Maidstone and via Zoom. The Agenda and the Zoom link will be posted as soon as they are available.
